I used the tools under "The Muse" section of the February Album Writing Month site at muse dot fawm dot-org.
When I called up a "plot spline," it suggested: “Write a song in first person ("i/we") in which the main character is thinking out loud. the story takes place in the present, and the scene is a specific place."
When I asked for a "struxxure," it gave me “intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-chorus"
When I asked for a "lyricloud," I got these words: “appealing calcium calm chisel coming differently face farewell fell fine hip-hop lie mild-mannered place punish resembled ripples scattering sea slowly staring surface untold unveiled volcano wind”
Out of the words generated by its "titular" title generator, I liked the words “just fly” best out of “yn isolation of carrion,” "vegas old of hollywood,” "somethings ruins,” "among the hearts,” "the means are organic,” "watches satisfy,” "transition with you,” "yo ignorance (solution space),” "crossed from the slaughterhouse,” "dam prisoner tides,” "ugly des messiah,” "you make me apologize,” "sing on your nazis,” "here hells rite,” "i hate sweater,” "deuce me down,” "how to overcome a spaceman,” "ohio du gonna gotta,” "measure : won’t” and "jingle sings"
lyrics
I shouldn’t be so calm against this setting
I know there must be something I’m forgetting
so I plan to say what must not be left untold
while we’re still young enough to grow old
This beach is okay but never special on its own
Endless ripples by the sea feelings washing over me
Anywhere we choose to sit becomes a throne
Wind is blowing in our face gusting fast rushing free
I want to throb among the hearts with you
beating within bony cages outliving all the ages
Chisel belonging into the face of the moon
So when we bid farewell lovers ever after can tell
they never felt a thing as real as we still do
Yon volcano's a doormat dormant if not dead
A city sprung up at its feet full of life twice as fleet
no ash and fire ever fell down from overhead
no wave tectonic was ever a slave to some chthonic beat
I’m a singer-songwriter using guitars and keyboards to craft distinctive dispatches from intimate interiors, vast exteriors
and all points in between. Drawing on years of pop, soul, indie, folk and dance-music fandom, I try to turn observations and narratives into succinct sonic snapshots....more
