I was using the tools under "The Muse" section of the February Album Writing Month site at fawm dot-org.
When I called up a "plot spline," it suggested: “Write a song in third person ("he/she/it") in which the main character is thinking out loud. the story takes place in the present, and the scene is a moving vehicle."
When I asked for a "struxxure," it gave me “verse-lift/pre-chorus-bridge-lift/pre-chorus-chorus"
When I asked for a "lyricloud," I got these words: “ball becomes beer coarse cough deluding drunk faced fog ghosts guts ignite intensity kissed late lightbulbs lost lot minutes museum natural nights paris st twenty-five woman”
Out of the words generated by its "titular" title generator, I liked the words “living in yesterdays” out of "indwelling on the gravel (live),” "close of me,” "wreck right now,” "suspended to teeth,” "per shameless revenant,” "living in yesterdays,” "another catcher, another door,” "float to the print,” "machina killa material,” "sure banana laughing,” "less tha def,” "on the pocket choice,” "it rests not dangerous,” "wall to a sickness,” "wandering mighty,” "hit this,” "this imposter madness for,” "the jugglers,” "138 leper tone,” "the tough gravel brooklyn” and "protect away
lyrics
Lightbulbs in fog slide past car windows
Minutes pile up like feelings to be faced
Worries ignite like little sunlit minnows
Water surrounds them natural and embraced
She wonders if she’s deluding herself
Not like all memories belong in museums
She weighs what’s best for her health
Cautious loyalties or reckless freedoms
She knows there’s no living in yesterdays
It ain’t a ZIP code or a neighborhood location
She knows there’s no living in yesterdays
It’s no dream home no desired destination
She becomes drunk on opportunities cost and missed
She’s too busy wandering to get properly lost or kissed
She wonders if she’s deluding herself
Not like all memories belong in museums
She weighs what’s best for her health
Cautious loyalties or reckless freedoms
She knows there’s no living in yesterdays
It ain’t a ZIP code or a neighborhood location
She knows there’s no living in yesterdays
It’s no dream home no desired destination
I’m a singer-songwriter using guitars and keyboards to craft distinctive dispatches from intimate interiors, vast exteriors
and all points in between. Drawing on years of pop, soul, indie, folk and dance-music fandom, I try to turn observations and narratives into succinct sonic snapshots....more
